Studio Rules & Code of Conduct

Attendance & Catch-ups. Consistent attendance supports a dancer’s progress. Missed classes aren’t refundable; however, where possible you may join another suitable class to make up the session. If an instructor cancels, we’ll arrange a catch-up at a mutually suitable time. If you’ll be away for a month or more, please let us know in advance. If you stop attending without notifying us, you remain liable for fees for that period.

School Terms. We run our classes according to school terms. No classes during school holidays unless specifically organised.

Public Holidays. No classes on public holidays.

Class Etiquette. Please arrive on time. Late arrival may reduce your lesson time. Enter quietly to avoid disrupting the current class, put on your shoes (if applicable), and begin a gentle warm-up.

Media. We occasionally take photos/video during classes and events for studio updates and marketing. We use discretion and only share appropriate content. If you prefer not to be included, please indicate this in the PoPI section below.

Parents & Pick-ups. To minimise distraction, classes aren’t open for observation unless specifically invited. Our instructors can’t supervise children before/after class—please ensure your dancer waits inside the studio or within the premises until collected.

By continuing, you acknowledge and accept the Rise Dance Studio rules above.

Dress Code

Compulsory dance attire. Leotards, tights, leggings, hot pants, dance skirts, and form-fitting tops are acceptable. A one-piece swimming costume is also acceptable.

Not permitted. Jeans, pyjama pants, casual/baggy T-shirts, school sportswear, or hoodies in class.

Footwear. Wear appropriate shoes for your style at all times.

Hair. Hair should be tied up and off the face.

Colours. Preferably black and white.
